About Miss Milner

Hi!  I'm so thrilled about teaching third grade at Union Ridge School and being a part of this community.

I graduated from Lake Forest College in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Music.  I previously was a second grade teacher, a reading teacher for grades K-2 and an oral English teacher in Xi'an, China.  I enjoy learning new ideas and information that help me be an amazing teacher. 

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, traveling, singing, Chicago festivities, and spending time with friends and family.  I am from central Illinois and my mom's side of the family lives in Thailand so I love visiting them as much as possible.  I'm currently developing my culinary skills. 

I'm looking forward to this new year in third grade!
